Aaron, I thought this weekend was a good benchmark for the Beavs. After hosting a number of lil sisters of the poor for the last two weeks the Dbags offered a great challenge at their place. Gaviligo pitched an almost perfect gem on Friday and the Beavs showed heart in an ugly win and a pitchers duel loss on Saturday. I do expect we shall make some noise in the Pac this year. The Buzz is about team chemistry, it rivals our last Nchamp team.

No love for SB's Matt Vedo? He went 8 2/3 innings of no-hit ball before an error in the 9th forced him to face one more batter that ended up hitting a double. He lost the no-hitter and the shutout. SB still ended up sweeping both games against Nevada.

Thanks for the great update! What a weekend of baseball, and it's still March. I saw all three U Va – FSU games, and the quality of play was excellent. Three extra inning games, all decided by a run. Hope to see the Hoos move up this week, but Florida looks awfully good so far.
