Boiler Up! Great opening weekend for the Boilers with Wins over Uconn and Pittsburgh. Unfortuantely they got whacked by Notre Dame, but a very solid opening weekend none the less.

I wouldn't get too excited if I were a Maryland fan. The Longhorns just scored six runs in the first inning of game four, and they're on their way to winning three out of four games in the season-opening series versus the Terrapins. That's better than last year, when Texas lost two of three games to New Mexico to begin the season. Cole Green will perform better next weekend. Hook 'em Horns! Jim Fletcher, 1997 UT-Austin alumnus

Former Vandy assistant and Maryland HC Bakich has the Terps looking impressive after beating #6 Texas 10-1 while beating Cole Green Saturday.
On Fri Maryland was out hitting Texas through 5 innings with Jungmann on the mound. Jung got stronger though and Maryland's bullpen faltered.
Tomo Delt was 2/4 vs. Jungman and hit a 3 run blast vs. Cole Green. Leadoff hitter Rodriguez has mult hit games vs. Jungmann and Green.
A possible sleeper team here in the ACC.

What about JMU's 37-7 win over Bucknell, where the Dukes hit 10 home runs, including three different back-to-back-to-back jacks?
