Miami’s Morris Has Gall Bladder Removed

Miami head coach Jim Morris had surgery on Friday evening after battling a stomach illness the past four days. After being admitted to the hospital with stomach virus-like symptoms and undergoing extensive testing, a team of doctors at University of Miami Hospital (UMH) recommended immediate removal of his gall bladder.

The surgery was successful, and Morris is resting comfortably. He hopes to rejoin the team at some point next week.
