Scott, it was Maxwell who struggled against Texas (and also against FSU). Winkler was outstanding in game 3 against Texas.

If they win Friday, I feel very confident they’ll bring Winkler back on Saturday. He’s proven himself as a big-game pitcher and he has excellent stuff; they won’t lose confidence in him after one rough start.

Hey Aaron,
What do you think TCU needs to do to get over the hump against UCLA? Burke seems to be a no brainer for tomorrow, but with Winkler struggling against Texas and UCLA in his last two starts, will they skip his spot?

10 unearned runs says enough, FSU overachieved this year and TCU was probably the better team but thats a terrible way to lose. The trend for FSU baseball continues sadly.
