The move was essentially an appeal of the circuit court’s prior ruling in favor of UK, Aaron Fitt of Baseball America reports. Paxton, who BA recently ranked as the No. 1 senior in college baseball, now must decide whether to appeal the case to the Kentucky Supreme Court. His attorney, Rick Johnson told Fitt they would make that decision by Monday.
