OMAHA—After watching Louisiana State win its sixth national championship with an 11-4 win against Texas, Kirk Kenney and I offered our parting thoughts from Rosenblatt Stadium.

To all those who said the Tigers couldn’t, sorry they had to prove you wrong. Go back to the first day of the CWS blogs, and see what was written. This Tiger team, was just that, a TEAM. Texas was a great opponent, and stretched us to the limit. However, when the peices of the puzzle come together, destiny happens. Also, thanks to Baseball America for great coverage of the CWS. You guys Rock!
