I’ve seen Austin Ross’ numbers. A 5-7 record and a 4.94 earned run average as LSU’s third-best starter. The Longhorns and their fans will be salivating at the thought of Ross (or some similarly ill-equipped pitcher) on the mound. If LSU is going to win, they’ll have to do it in two games. Aside from Coleman, Ranaudo, and the freshman Ott, they don’t have anyone who can pitch well. I’m telling you, if these two teams are playing on Wednesday, Texas will win their 7th baseball national championship. Hook ‘em Horns!

It’s funny how nobody watches anything or checks into anything but what their team has done all year. Go back to the SEC tourney where LSU’s pitching staff basically took control of their own destiny. Be careful of the words you say Jim. They’ll snare you.

If they play on Wednesday, Texas will win their 7th national championship. LSU would have to send some guy with an ERA of 5.00 to the mound on Wednesday. Let’s go Texas! Hook ‘em Horns!
