kyle Bellamy, while not making the cut if he indeed has to have pitched an inning per game, has the requisite number of minimum innings (minimum fifteen) and not only does he have a twenty-three to one SO to walk ratio after being wild last year, his summer spent in the NYCBL has sure paid dividends as not only does he have zero ERA he also has allowed zero inherited runners to score. I think that Bellamy is better suited for closer than Carlos Gutierrez who has blown two games in that while Gutierrez has GREAT STUFF Bellamy is the kind of pitcher that is virtually unhittable one time through a line-up, ergo I would reverse Carlos Gutierrez and Kyle Bellamy. Major props also go to Miami's #2 and #4 starters stepped up and Hernandez went seven against the Duke ace on Friday as Miami was resting Erickson for a precautionary strained muscle and Garcia = who had been scheduled to be demoted from #3 to #4 going into the weekend with jason Santana slated to get his first conference and weekend start, Garcia gave a depleted Miami staff eight strong innings, including retiring the last 15 batters he faced when Santana was sidelined with a similiar injury to Erickson's and Miami needed to get big innings from it's weekend starters and, despite Sunday's washout, the innings thrown by Hernandez and Garcia are huge with The Canes having four games in six days with two of their top starters still questionable coming into the week/

Miami's Kyle Bellamy's stats:
46 Kyle Bellamy..... ERA 0.00 W-L 3-0 APP 11 GS 0 CG 0 GS CG SHO/CBO 0/0 SV 2 IP 16.2 H 5 R 0 ER 0 BB 1 SO 23 2B 1 3B 0 HR 0 AB 54 B/Avg .093 WP 0 HBP 2 BK 0 SFA 0 SHA 0
