What do you expect the team to do, just swing at anything that comes up and make sure you do not make contact. I believe that is more of a disrepect for the opponent then continuing to play hard. If the team that is winning by a large margin is making unsportsmanlike comments, gestures, etc then that is not right but if all they did wrong is to keep trying to hit the ball then I think that is what I would expect from a team.
