Igawa was optioned all the way to Tampa, with 2-1, 7.63 numbers, to rebuild his windup with pitching coordinator Nardi Contreras. Bean got his ticket for Scranton punched by allowing four runs on two hits and two walks in a May 4 outing; he allowed four more in his first outing back in Triple-A. Gardner was expected to miss at least a month with a broken hand.
