Wilson High (Long Beach) finished its season 32-3 and won the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Division I championship. While one additional poll will be conducted to account for schools that had not yet completed their seasons, the staff of Baseball America and the National High School Baseball Coaches Association unanimously voted Wilson High as the final No. 1 team in the 2007 Top 50 rankings.
