A’s Deal For Injured Denorfia

Jim Callis -

There's no question that the Athletics made a trade for Chris Denorfia on Friday with an eye to the future. Cincinnati acquired Triple-A righthander Marcus McBeth from the A's on Saturday as part of the payment. On June 12, the Reds received lefty Ben Jukich as the second player to be named.
